Modules

The Modules mode displays the Modules in a model definition and the Object type (extensions) and base config they contain.

Tip: A model definition is a bundle of standard content, customer content and activation information. Together with a transformations definition, a model definition defines a model. A model definition describes object types, fields and the relationships between object types. It is a representation of the data, not the data itself.

Select Modules in the navigation pane to edit a model definition. You can then use the navigation tree or the search field to find the items that you want to edit.

Module Details

If you select a module in the navigation pane when in Modules navigation mode, the details pane displays the module details.

The following tabs are available:

  • The General tab: This tab displays the module characteristics, like for example its name, parent, extension type, and includes.

  • The Overview tab: This tab displays the content of the entire module in a read-only view similar to the Content Editor. From this tab, you can navigate directly to the corresponding help text.
