Importing Modules

To import modules

  1. In the navigation pane, click Modules .

  2. In the navigation pane, click the name of the model to which you want to add the modules. If you are importing customer content, the model should already contain the standard content modules if the customer content modules contain references to object types and base config in the standard content modules.

  3. In the action bar, click WB_button_import_module. The Import module page opens.

  4. Edit the settings for importing modules:

    1. In the Select module files section, click Choose files to select the zip file or ini file(s) containing your module(s).

    2. Select Overwrite existing modules? if the import should overwrite existing modules in your model. If this option is not selected and existing modules with the same names are found, the import will fail and no modules will be imported.

  5. Click WB_button_save.

The modules are imported, and after a successful import, they are displayed on the model page. If your import file contained help texts, they are visible in help text mode.

If your import was not successful, refer to Import warnings to solve any warnings that you encounter. After a successful import, you may want to edit the activation tree and the tables and fields. Your new modules will not be available in Angles for SAP until you commit your changes.
