navigation tree in the Modeling Workbench
The navigation pane displays a tree view of the available model(s) in your chosen mode. This navigation tree gives you an overview of the structure of the available models and the entities they contain. You can also navigate to and between these entities by clicking on a tree node. The available models are at the root of the navigation tree. Click to collapse an item.
The node icon next to a node in the navigation tree indicates its type. The standard content node also shows the Standard Content version number if available. Click a node icon or the name of an item to see more information about it in the details pane.

Depending on the mode you are in, the navigation tree displays different information:
In Transformations mode, you can only expand and collapse models and content.
-
In Modules mode, you can expand into modules, object types, object type extensions, and base config.
- If you click a module node, the General tab is opened in the details pane.
- If you click an object type (extension) or base config node, the Overview tab is opened in the details pane and the editor is scrolled down to the selected item.
In Object Types mode, you can expand and collapse models and object types, but you can only view the content of the modules that make up the object types.
In Help Texts mode, you can expand into help texts grouped by content type and entity type.
In Committed Model mode, the navigation tree of the selected committed model is displayed. You can expand the tree into Objects, Transformations, and Help texts, depending on the filter(s) that you have selected.
