Using the Search Bar
You can use the search bar to search for all items that might answer a specific business question. You can also use the extended filtering options that the search bar provides to further refine your search results.
To use the search bar
-
On the Search results page, enter your business question in the search bar.
Entering the question "What are my critical orders?", for instance, will give you all Templates, Angles, and Dashboards that deal with orders that are considered critical. These orders are not late yet, but will most likely be late based on analysis of the data.
Tip: Angles for SAP remembers your previous five search terms. These appear in a drop-down list below the search bar.
The search results will be generated as you type.
-
To use the advanced search:
Tip: You can use the advanced search without entering a search term in the search bar.
Click in the search bar. The advanced search parameters are expanded.
-
Edit your advanced search parameters (see Advanced search for an explanation of the available options).
Tip: You can combine multiple parameters. The results are shown on an AND-basis, which means that all parameters must apply for an item to appear in the search results.
-
Click Search.
Tip: To clear the advanced search parameters, click in the search bar.
The search results are displayed in the Search results pane.
