Advanced Search

You can use the advanced search options to further refine your search results or to search for a specific technical attribute of an item. The advanced search options can be accessed via the search bar (see Using the search bar). The advanced search consists of three sets of parameters:

You can combine multiple parameters. The results are shown on an AND-basis, which means that all parameters must apply for an item to appear in the search results.

Advanced Text Search

With the advanced text search options, you can find the item that you are looking for based on attributes like its name, ID, description, or an included Display.

Usage Search

With the usage search options, you can find items created, executed, or validated by a specific user, on a specific date. You can also find items that have been executed more or less than a certain number of times. You can narrow the results by adding dates and conditions (on, after, before, or between) for the selected dates.

Limitations to Refine Search

To further refine the advanced search parameters, you can use two limitations:

  • Allow more detail - Select this option to exclude items in which you are not allowed to obtain more information than defined. This concerns items in which you cannot, for instance, add fields or drill down to data.

  • Allow Jump - Select this option to exclude items in which you are not allowed to go to a related object via a Jump.
