Templates
Angles for SAP is designed for doing business. Creating a new Angle should be easy, even if you do not have in-depth knowledge of the SAP data structure. You should be able to define new Angles based on your business question. Angles for SAP provides numerous Templates to get you started. Which Templates are available to you depends on the Business processes that you are authorized to work with.
A Template is a predefined business question with a subset of relevant data fields and layout options called Displays. It is based on one of the Angles for SAP objects (see Objects). When you execute a Template, you can add some additional information and create an Angle based on the Template. The result can be used privately or it can be published and (after validation) be used by other users.
While you cannot edit a Template, you can edit the Angle that is the result of its execution. You can also convert your custom Angle to a Template to serve as a starting point for other Angles. To know more about the difference between Templates and Angles, see Templates versus Angles.
