Angles
An Angle is a set of data that, when combined, can answer a specific business question. With Angles for SAP, you can intuitively create these operational overviews and analyses with a high level of detail, based on current data. The results of Angles can answer questions that are relevant to specific Business processes, for example:
- Can I rely on the supplier that offers the lowest price to deliver on time? (P2P)
- What sales order lines are late or about to become late, according to the promise we made to the customer, and what can we do about it? (SCM, O2C)
- What open production orders are still relevant for planning? (SCM)
- What is the payment behavior of our customers? (F2R)
- What was the absence behavior like during the last quarter? (HCM)
- What is the difference between the total planned and the actual cost of maintenance? (PM)
Angles are created based on Templates and can be adjusted to your information needs, depending on your user privileges. In addition to the raw SAP data, Angles for SAP provides many calculated Fields to help you refine your Angle.
If you click on an Angle name on the Search results page, the results are calculated. This is called executing an Angle. The results of executing an Angle are shown on the Angle results page, and they can be displayed in one of the available Displays.
You can also execute multiple Angles and view their Displays in one overview. This is called a Dashboard. Angle results can be scheduled to be exported automatically.
