Business processes
Angles for SAP is business process-oriented. You can only use the business processes that you are authorized to work with. A buyer in your company, for example, might not be interested in human capital management, or might not even be allowed to see this information for privacy reasons.
Angles for SAP splits the available data into valid sets of information for each predefined business process. Via user management, each user gains access to their part of the information. Each business process consists of its own set of Angles, Dashboards or Templates.
The predefined business processes are shown in the Filter pane and are all selected by default. Hover over a business process name to see its full name.
You can select or deselect any business process. Please note that when you select all business processes this will have the same effect on your results as when you deselect all business processes. The processes are:
- Purchase to Pay (P2P) - refers to the business processes that cover activities of requesting (requisitioning), purchasing, receiving, paying for and accounting for goods and services.
- Supply to Demand (S2D) - within Angles for SAP, SCM spans all movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-progress, inventory and finished goods from point of origin to point of consumption including intermediate storage points (inventory, manufacturing and QM processes).
- Order to Cash (O2C) - refers to the business processes for receiving and processing customer sales orders all the way to the receipt of payment.
- Finance to Report (F2R) - refers to all the business processes that record the financial implications of operational business events as well as the reporting on these events (FI). In addition, Controlling refers to the monitoring of plan and control data from a financial perspective.
- Plant Maintenance (PM) - refers to the overall maintenance-related business processes and functions, including service and asset management.
- Quality Management (QM) - refers to the business processes that are involved with quality planning, notifications, and inspections.
- Human Capital Management (HCM) - refers to all the business processes that are involved with employee master data and employee-related info records and functions.
- Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) - refers to all the business processes that are involved in managing risks and detecting fraud.
- Information Technology (IT) - refers to Angles and properties that provide easy analytics on users, SAP transactions and the Angles of Angles for SAP. EA4IT is delivered free-of-charge with any of the business applications.
- Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) - refers to all the business processes that support the planned and efficient processing of all logistics processes in the warehouse.
The business processes are subject to the Angles for SAP license structure. Only a full license grants access to the full set.
