Labels

Angles for SAP supports the use of labels. There are two different types of labels:

Labels are predefined by your system administrator. If you want to define personal custom filters for your items, you can use Tags to do that.

Search labels

Angles, Dashboards and Templates might be labeled, which makes it easier for you to find them. The available labels have been defined by the system administrator and are visible in the Filter pane of the Search results page. This is an example of two label categories, each with one label. You can select a label to see all items that have that label assigned to them.

You can also assign the available labels to your Angles (see Selecting the search labels (Angle)) or Dashboards (see Selecting the search labels (Dashboard)) after executing them.

The availability of search labels depends on your user role and your user privileges. See Viewing or specifying your user settings.

Privilege labels

Your system administrator might have defined user privileges in combination with Search labels. These labels are called privilege labels. If a privilege label, for instance 'View', has been assigned to an Angle, a Dashboard, or a Template, users must have that particular privilege in order to execute the item.

Example: The label 'Sales department' has been added to an Angle. This label has been defined as a privilege label with privilege 'View'. This means that only users with the 'View' privilege will be able to execute the Angle. See Viewing or specifying your user settings for information on privileges.
