Viewing and Updating your System Settings

The System tab in the settings pane contains information about your Angles for SAP system, for example, the language and Business processes that are displayed. You may not see all these settings if you do not have sufficient privileges.

The following settings might be displayed:

Default Business Process

The business processes that are selected by default when you log in. See Setting your default Business Processes.

Language

The language in which you want to view the Angles for SAP application. See Selecting your language.

# of rows for export to Excel

The default number of rows that are exported to Excel. See Setting the export options.

Show filter for Angle warnings

Select this option if you want to be able to filter items that contain warnings. The filter is added to the General filters in the Filter pane.

Show only my private Displays

Select this option if you want to hide the private Displays of other users in public Angles. These private Displayswill not be included if you download the Angle. They will be still be executed if you run an automation task that contains them, but they will not be available for selection if you set up a new task.

Note:

You will still see other users' private Angles and their Displays if you turn on this option.

This option is only available if you have sufficient privileges to view the private Displays of other users.

By default selected in the field chooser

Select which filters are selected by default if you open the field chooser. See Setting the field chooser defaults.

Show technical names

It is possible to display the technical names of Angles for SAPFields in the field chooser as well as in the column headers of each List. By default, these are not shown, but you can deselect either option to make the technical names visible.

Insert Column

Check this box to for a Manual Data Refresh. This means that data does not get loaded automatically when you add a field(s) to the display, Columns are added without data to the display. When this box is checked, two new buttons, Insert and Load are added to the Insert Column Tab. To insert a field to a Display, click Insert. To load the data, select the Load button at the bottom of the field chooser and save Angleor Display.

Go to SAP

Connect Angles for SAP to SAP to enable opening the corresponding SAP entry directly from an Angles for SAPDisplay. Here you enter your SAP credentials, download the Launcher, and select the logon language for SAP. See Go to SAP.
