Warnings and Errors
There are two types of warning and errors that you can encounter in Angles for SAP:
Warnings and errors that occur during actions like publishing, validating, etc. These warnings and errors are displayed as notifications. They appear at the bottom of the screen. The notification displays information about the problem so that you can solve it. Click X to close the notification.
Warnings and errors that have to do with the Model configuration itself. These warnings and errors are displayed in the Angle, the Display, or the Dashboard where they occur. This type of warnings and errors is explained in the remainder of this topic.
It is possible for mismatches in the definition of an Angle, Display, or Dashboard and the Model configuration to occur. This can be a result of upgrades, configuration changes, technical errors or copying Angles defined on one system to another. Errors and warnings will always be written to the logs. Angles, Displays, and Dashboards will be extended with a “Liability” field. The liability can have the value "Warning" or "Error" according to the following rules:

All Displays in the Dashboard contain warnings or errors. |
All Displays in the Dashboard contain errors. |
Errors and warnings in Angles, Dashboards, and Displays are shown next to the name of the item they apply to, in any list where they appear.
Angles, Displays, and Dashboards with errors or warnings are only visible to users who can correct them. If you had the privilege to use some Angles or Displays, but an error or warning occurs (maybe due to an upgrade or configuration change), this Angle or Display will be unavailable for you until the error or warning is solved by the power user or by the consultant correcting the configuration.
If you create a new Angle based on a Template, it will not contain warnings or errors. Any part of the Template that could cause warnings in the Angle is not included. This could be a sorting step about a certain field, a Display field, or an entire Display. If no executable Displays remain, the Angle cannot be created, and you will see an error message.
