Copying a Display

Note:

This functionality is only available if you have sufficient privileges. Your privileges are maintained by your system administrator in the IT Management Console.

You can copy and paste a Display within an Angle or to another Angle.

To copy and paste a Display

  1. Execute the Angle that contains the Display (see Executing an Angle or Template ). The Angle results page opens.

  2. Find the Display in the Displays pane . If there are many Displays, the Display tab of the Display might not be immediately visible. In that case, click to see the list of available Displays and find your Display there.

  3. If your Display contains filters that you want to include in the new Display, select Keep active Display Filters at the top right of the Displays pane.

  4. In the Action bar, click WC_Copy_Display_Icon. The Display is copied to the clipboard.

  5. In the Angle to which you want to copy the Display, click WC_Paste_Display_Icon. The Display is added to the Angle as an ad hoc Display, and it is opened in the Displays pane.

    Tip: You can paste the Display into the original Angle or into another Angle, even in another browser tab.

  6. Edit the Display characteristics of the copied Display.

    Note:

    You cannot add more than one ad hoc Display to an Angle at a time. Save or discard the current ad hoc Display before adding another one.

  7. In the Action bar , click to save the Display .

    You can also save the entire Angle and all the Displays it contains in one go. Click the caret of the Save Display button ( ) and select Save all .
