Business Processes

Default Business Processes

Angles for SAP includes the following default business processes:

  • P2P - Purchase to Pay
  • S2D - Supply to Demand
  • O2C - Order to Cash
  • F2R - Finance to Report
  • PM - Plant Maintenance
  • QM - Quality Management
  • HCM - Human Capital Management
  • GRC - Governance, Risk and Compliance
  • IT - Information Technology
  • EWM - Extended Warehouse Management

Managing the Business Processes

You can manage the business processes in the IT Management Console. Navigate to Global Settings > Business Processes. The business processes table displays an overview of the current business process settings.

In the business processes table you can make the following changes:

Enabling or Disabling a Business Process

If a customer has a license that does not grant access to all the default business processes, you can disable business processes in the IT Management Console. You cannot delete the default business processes; you can only disable them.

To enable or disable a business process

  1. In the Enabled column, select or deselect the checkbox for the business process you want to enable/disable.
  2. Click Save in the top right corner.

    Disabled business processes are not available for users.

Adding a Business Process

To add an additional business process

  1. Click Add Business Processes.
  2. Add an abbreviation and language-dependent names.
  3. Click Save in the top right corner.

Note: You can add missing languages manually. See Languages for more information.

Deleting a Business Process

To delete a business process

  1. Click MC_Trashcan next to the business process you want to delete. The selected business process will be highlighted.
  2. Click Save in the top right corner.

Note: You cannot delete the default business processes.

Rearranging the Business Processes

To change the order of the business processes

  1. Click MC_ChangeOrder in front of the business process you want to move.
  2. Drag the business process to its new location and release your mouse button.
  3. Click Save in the top right corner.
