Introduction
AI Search adds a new, conversational way to find angles and templates in Angles for SAP. Instead of searching through a long list of existing angles, you can simply ask what you are looking for, and AI Search will return the most relevant results.
This is a significant step forward from traditional (classic) search. AI Search better understands what you are looking for, covers a wider range of search scenarios, and offers helpful follow-up suggestions to narrow
Enable AI Search
AI Search is enabled by default for all users. If needed, users can turn AI Search on or off at any time based on their own preference.
Steps
- Go to User Settings.
- Locate the AI Search option.
- Toggle AI Search on or off as needed.
Navigating to the AI Search Page
Users can access the AI Search page directly from the Lineos navigation menu.
Steps
- From the Angles Search Page, select the option to open AI Search.
- The AI Search page will open, ready for a new query.
Starting a Conversation with AI Search
The AI Search landing page is arranged in two panels:
- Right panel : displays all angles and templates & Dashboards available to the user.
- Left panel: the AI Search conversation panel, where the user can prompt a question they are looking for.
For example, a user could type:
“Share me the items where stock status is blocked.”
“Share me angles which are related to SAP transaction is VA03.”
“ I want to get insight in payment behavior.”
Following Up and Continuing the Conversation
AI Search does more than return a list of matches. It also analyzes the top results and highlights the angles it believes are the best fit for the user's request.
AI Search can also help narrow down results further, and in some cases will ask clarifying questions to better understand exactly what the user needs.
User can always restart a new conversation with a refresh button at the top or navigate back to the classic search page.

The table below compares how a search task can be executed using the classic search, against how the same task is executed with AI Search.
