26.2.6 Release Notes

Set out below is a summary of the highlights, fixes and improvements in the 26.2.6 cloud version of Angles for SAP.

End User - Usability Improvements

FeatureDescription
Visibility into polluted dependent orders.

A new field "Order Nrs Dep Polluted" is now available on Purchase and Sales Document Schedule Lines, allowing you to identify dependent sales orders sitting in pollution (very late) delivery status. This complements the existing "Order Nrs Dep Late/Critical" field for a complete dependency picture.

Key Capabilities:

  • Displays order numbers of all dependent sales orders with pollution delivery status.
  • Available on both Purchase and Sales Document Schedule Lines.
  • Non-disruptive addition: Existing "Order Nrs Dep Late/Critical" behavior remains unchanged.
  • Can be combined with other fields using Calculated Fields for custom views.
R2 Workbench: Download all fields now persists in transformations. In the Transformations section of R2 Workbench, enabling the "Download all fields" option would reset to the disabled state after saving and committing the configuration. Users had to re-enable this setting each time they worked with table configurations. The "Download all fields" setting now remains persistent across saves and commits, eliminating the need for repeated manual re-enabling.

End User - Fixes and Improvements

FeatureDescription
[05625493] Chart Display: Text capitalization now matches source data.In Angles for SAP R2 Chart displays, short names and similar text fields were being modified to show only the first letter capitalized, regardless of how the data was stored in the source system. For example, "METER" would display as "Meter" in the chart, while list and pivot view displays correctly showed the original capitalization. Removed the unwanted text transformation from chart display rendering so that field values are now displayed exactly as they exist in the database. Text fields in Chart displays now consistently match the capitalization as defined in SAP and other display formats, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all views.
[05627271] ConditionRecord Classes: Missing DocumentCurrency property added. When exporting reports from drilldowns in Angles for SAP R2, a query execution error occurred with the message "column documentcurrency does not exist" when working with ConditionRecord publishing classes. The failure occurred when using fields like "Amount in Document Currency" that depend on the DocumentCurrency property. Users can now successfully export drilldown reports that use ConditionRecord objects and currency-related fields without encountering missing column errors. Report exports now complete successfully.
[05627328] Label Filter Display: Full text now shows instead of abbreviations. In the angle search page label filters, Angles for SAP R2 was displaying abbreviations instead of the full English text for the SUB-PROCESS and TYPE labels. R1 correctly displayed the full text as maintained in the IT Management Console, but R2 showed only the abbreviation, which did not always provide sufficient context. Corrected the label text rendering logic to retrieve and display the full English text from the IT Management Console, consistent with R1 behavior. Labels now display the complete, meaningful text rather than abbreviated forms.
Search page display dropdown and indicator enhancements.

Three related fixes restore feature parity with R1 and improve the display selection experience on the Search page. Users can now easily identify automated displays and navigate display lists more efficiently.

Automated Display Indicator Now Visible

Automated displays now display the hourglass/filter indicator in the search page list view. Previously, the indicator only appeared after executing the angle, making it difficult for users to identify which displays were automated while browsing the search results. The indicator now displays consistently across all contexts, matching R1 behavior and the Execute view.

Display Dropdown Now Sorts Alphanumerically

Display dropdowns now sort items alphanumerically instead of randomly. Previously, displays appeared in random order, making it difficult for users to locate specific displays when selecting from the dropdown. Consistent sorting improves usability and matches R1 behavior.

Default Display Indicator Now Shows in Dropdown

The square box indicator identifying the default display now appears in the display type icon when browsing displays via the search page dropdown. Previously, users could not visually identify which display was the default from the dropdown; this indicator is now consistently shown across all views, Search page dropdown, Execute view, and Display Overview matching R1.

Login action settings now execute correctly after logout.User settings for login actions configured in "Actions at Login" were not being executed after a logout and login sequence. Specifically, the settings "Repeat last executed search when I log in" and "Execute angles and dashboards automatically when I login" were ignored after login, requiring users to manually repeat their search or re-execute angles and dashboards. Users can now rely on their configured login actions to automatically run searches and execute angles and dashboards, improving efficiency and matching R1 behavior. Logout-login cycles now preserve and execute user preferences as expected.
