End User - Highlights

Feature Description
New Annual Release Schedule for On-Premise/R1 Deployments.

Starting from 2026, we are transitioning to a new release schedule for On-Premise (R1) deployments to provide better stability and streamlined support. Instead of four quarterly releases, we will deliver one major annual release with ongoing updates throughout the year.

What's New

  • Annual Major Release: One comprehensive major release per year instead of four quarterly releases.
  • Continuous Updates: Bug fixes and maintenance delivered as updates based on customer demand throughout the year.
  • Simplified Support: Stay current with fixes and improvements without requiring full version migrations.
  • Greater Stability: Longer release cycles provide more stable production environments.

New Version Numbering:

  • Major Release: 2026.0 (delivered at the beginning of 2026).

  • Updates: 2026.0.1, 2026.0.2, 2026.0.3, etc. (delivered throughout 2026 as needed).

  • Next Major Release: 2027.0 (delivered at the beginning of 2027).

Key Benefits:

  • Easier Maintenance: Receive critical fixes and updates without the complexity of quarterly upgrades.

  • Reduced Migration Effort: Updates apply to your current release, eliminating migration requirements for bug fixes.

  • Flexible Support: Update frequency responds to actual customer needs rather than fixed schedules.

  • Better Planning: Annual major releases enable more predictable upgrade planning and testing cycles.

This change applies to On-Premise (R1) deployments only. Cloud (R2) deployments continue with their existing release schedule.

To receive ongoing updates, ensure you upgrade to each new major release.

Feature Description
Enhanced Descriptions for Standard Content Templates

All standard Angles for SAP templates now include clear, comprehensive descriptions for their displays in English. Each description provides context about the visualization type, applied filters, navigation options, and common use cases, making it easier to quickly identify the right template for your analysis needs and reducing the time required to gain insights from standard content.

Key Benefits:

Faster Template Discovery: Quickly identify the most relevant standard template for your specific analysis requirements.

Better Understanding: Clear descriptions explain what each display shows and how it can be used in your workflows.

Improved Productivity: Spend less time evaluating templates and more time analyzing your SAP data.

Feature Description

EA4IT Identify Unused Fields with Enhanced Usage Tracking

The EA4IT model now tracks whether fields are used in filters, pivot options, and chart options within your angles, extending beyond the existing display usage tracking. Three new boolean fields in the Fields class help you identify fields that aren't actively used in any angle component:

  • Is Used In Filter Options

  • Is Used In Pivot Options

  • Is Used In Chart Options

A new pre-configured display, ‘Fields not used in Displays’, has been added to the Fields template to quickly identify unused fields.

Key Benefits:

  • Optimize Custom Content: Identify and remove unused fields to streamline your data model.

  • Improve Performance: Exclude unused fields from downloads to reduce data volume and improve processing speed.

  • Better Governance: Make informed decisions about field management based on actual usage patterns across all angle components.

  • Quick Start Analysis: Use the ready-made display to immediately view fields not used in any angle component.

[05423053 ] Clarified help text for MRP Supplier/Vendor field population logic

The help text for the MRP Supplier/Vendor field has been updated to provide clearer guidance on how the field is populated. The previous help text incorrectly suggested that the MRP Supplier/Vendor reference field would be populated with the Standard Supplier reference when EORD-AUTET is empty. This has been corrected to accurately reflect system behavior.

[05369310] Language-Dependent Descriptions Now Display Correctly.

When viewing SAP table or field descriptions with multiple language options enabled, the wrong language was displayed regardless of your selected user language. The system consistently showed the first alphabetically sorted language from enabled options instead of matching your user preference. Language-dependent descriptions now correctly display in your selected user language, ensuring SAP table and field descriptions appear in the language you're working in. If your selected language is not available, the system will display the description in the fallback language.

[05393710, 05376980] Restructured classifications do not populate.

Since the changes that were made in 25.2 were not in all scenarios leading to correct output, these changes were reverted. This means that the fix that took care of empty output tables for the EATableRestructurer being moved is also reverted, so these are no longer copied to the modelfolder (just like releases before 25.2). So whenever the setting for SuppressMULTOBJ setting changes, again there should be a manual interaction to move the empty files after the first full restructure from the workfolder to the modelfolder to get the model update complete.

[05398823] Material Reservations consumes Independent Requirements in phase 1.

It was found that in some scenario the Independent Requirements would be consumed by Material Reservation in phase 1, even if it was configured not to do so. This has been resolved.

[05407672] Stock Transfer Purchase Order Schedule lines use Stock Segment now for consuming side.

The stock segmentation logic was not yet taking into account the stock segment that is used on the consuming side of stock transfer purchase order schedule lines. This is now fixed and the stock segment information is disclosed and used on this side, making the allocations in ONC in line with SAP. Nothing changed for the delivering side of the purchase order schedule line.

[05411743] EA4IT: Fields | Technical Information property shows blank for all records.

Fixed Technical Information property for the EA4IT object : Fields. Issue is with mapping of model tables vs Instance tables which caused empty values.

[05423152] Stock transfer reservations and purchase requisitions use stock segmentation correct now.

The stock segmentation logic was not yet taking into account the stock segment that is used on the consuming side of stock transfer reservations and purchase requisitions. This is now fixed and the stock segment information is disclosed and used on this side, making the allocations in ONC more in line with SAP. Nothing changed for the delivering side of these order types.

[05443561] Refresh failure with S/4 due to reference to KNVK table.

It was found that refreshes on a S/4 system would fail on the KNVK table being referenced. This has been resolved.

Changes to default drill down display do not take effect immediately.

It was found that changes to a default drill down display would not take effect immediately. A page refresh would be needed to have the changes applied. This has been resolved.

Display URL property is not working properly.

It was found that the Display URL in EA4IT angle results would not be executable, while the Angle URL would. This has been resolved.

[05366542] Application Unavailability due to high memory usage of App Service.

It was found that in some scenarios the Application Server would become unavailable due to high memory usage. This has been resolved by improving the memory cleanup in those scenarios.

[05376864] Timeout errors when sending emails.

It was found that sending emails would fail on timeout errors when the number of emails would be very high in a relatively short amount of time. This has been resolved.

[05398751] EA4IT down due to arithmetic overflow error.

The EA4IT model was found unavailable due to an error 'Arithmetic overflow error converting expression to data type int.' This has been resolved.

[05407343] Unable to scroll to the end of the automation task action list.

The scrollbar in the automation task action list would not allow the user to scroll to the end of the list. This has been resolved.

[05411317] Workbench configuration not accessible without internet connection.

It was found that the Workbench configuration would not be shown when the client computer would not have access to the internet. This has been resolved.

Configuration extension for Financial Statement Versions is not working.

It was found that the configuration extension for Financial Statement Versions would not be working. This was indicated by the Angle Warnings tool reporting that fields FSVLevelXDescriptionINT were not available in object(s) Balance General Ledger Account on Company Code Level. This has been resolved.

Info on favorite dashboards missing after import of dashboards.

It was found that after import of dashboards via a package, the info on favorite (starred) dashboard would be lost. This has been resolved.

OData service response does not indicate failure when model server is down.

When the model server would not be available, the OData service would respond with 200 OK and an empty data collection, thus not indicating a problem. This has been improved.
