Feature Description

New EA4IT Model Properties for Angle History Tracking.

Two new properties have been added to the EA4IT model, Classes: Displays & Tasks:

  • Has - Angle History Created (boolean) - Indicates whether historical data tracking has been enabled and created for this angle. When set to true, the system maintains snapshots for this angle at a configured schedule, allowing users to track data evolution over time.

  • Angle History Task ID (text) - Contains the ID of the task configured to include angle history creation for this display. This enables administrators to trace which scheduled task is responsible for generating historical snapshots.

These properties provide administrators with visibility into historical data tracking configuration across the Angles environment, enabling better monitoring and management of history generation tasks and storage requirements.

[05423053 ] Clarified help text for MRP Supplier/Vendor field population logic.

The help text for the MRP Supplier/Vendor field has been updated to provide clearer guidance on how the field is populated.

The previous help text incorrectly suggested that the MRP Supplier/Vendor reference field would be populated with the Standard Supplier reference when EORD-AUTET is empty.

This has been corrected to accurately reflect system behavior.

[05366689] Field Chooser Sorting Now Works Correctly.

When adding fields to an angle from the field chooser, sorting by the Source column using ascending or descending order did not follow proper alphabetical order. This affected Reference and Timespan field categories, where the sort function appeared to ignore standard alphabetical sorting conventions.

The Source column in the field chooser now correctly sorts fields in proper alphabetical order (with special characters appearing first) when using ascending or descending sort options, ensuring you can quickly locate and add the fields you need.

[05420880] Starred field does not show up in Field Chooser.

Fields that were marked favorite (starred) in the field information popup would not show up as favorite (starred) in the Field Chooser. This issue has been resolved.

[05393710, 05376980] Restructured classifications do not populate.

Since the changes that were made in 25.2 were not in all scenarios leading to correct output, these changes were reverted. The fix that took care of empty output tables for the EATableRestructurer being moved is also also reverted, hence these are no longer copied to the modelfolder (similar to releases before 25.2). So whenever the setting for SuppressMULTOBJ setting changes, there should be a manual interaction again to move the empty files after the first full restructure from the workfolder to the modelfolder inorder to get the model update complete.

[05407672] Stock Transfer Purchase Order Schedule lines use Stock Segment now for consuming side.

The stock segmentation logic was not yet taking into account the stock segment that is used on the consuming side of stock transfer purchase order schedule lines. This is now fixed and the stock segment information is disclosed and used on this side, making the allocations in ONC in line with SAP. No change has been made for the delivering side of the purchase order schedule line.

[05411743] EA4IT: Fields | Technical Information property shows blank for all records.

Fixed Technical Information property for the EA4IT object : Fields. Issue with mapping of model tables vs Instance tables caused empty values.

[05423152] Stock transfer reservations and purchase requisitions use stock segmentation correct now.

The stock segmentation logic was not yet taking into account the stock segment that is used on the consuming side of stock transfer reservations and purchase requisitions. This is now fixed and the stock segment information is disclosed and used on this side, making the allocations in ONC more in line with SAP. Nothing changed for the delivering side of these order types.

Display URL property is not working properly.

Display URL in EA4IT angle results was not being executable, while the Angle URL would. This issue has been resolved.

Fixed CE Errors specific to Properties based on consuming Orders sublist.

Resolved below errors :

  • Split property declarations into separate configuration files for improved modularity and maintainability

  • Implemented filtering logic that only activates when the corresponding class is enabled

  • Selected a specific InfoRecord reference to improve reference recognition in purchase order lines

Lineos AI Description Generation Now Triggers on All Saves.

When the "Generate AI Description on Angle/Display Save" setting was enabled, editing and saving only the description field did not trigger Lineos AI to generate updated help text, while structural changes (like adding columns) did trigger the generation.

Lineos AI now consistently generates help text descriptions whenever you save an angle or display, regardless of whether you modified the structure or just the description field, and no description is created before.

Automatic AI generation only occurs when no description exists yet, preventing unintended overwrites of existing descriptions. To update an existing description with AI-generated content, use the manual "Add AI Description" option in the angle or display description field, which will prompt for confirmation before replacing your current description.

Web Client | Calculated field wrongly shows 'shown in uc' in header.

When user currency formatting is applied globally via system settings along with the option to exclude values in local or document currency, and a calculated field was created using a local or document currency field, the column header was wrongly displaying the ‘shown in uc’ label. This issue has been resolved.

Web Client | Calculated fields with currency or number type cannot be used in pivot Data Area.

Calculated fields with a currency or number type could not be used in the Data area for pivot displays. These fields were not showing up in the Field Chooser. This issue has been resolved.

Web Client | Chart display with calculated field fails with error on unitfield.

A chart display with a calculated field would fail with an error on unitfield. This issue has been resolved.

Web Client | Filter indicator in Field Chooser shows incorrect count.

The field chooser on the angle page was showing an incorrect number of active filters when Starred and/or Suggested filters would be applied by default from system settings. This issue has been resolved.

Web Client | Loader icon stays in loading state after rearranging columns in list display.

The loader icon would stay in loading state after rearranging columns in a list display. This issue has been resolved.

Web Client | Search text and result is not remembered when redirected back to create angle page.

The previous search text and results on the Create Page was not being shown again when redirected back to the page. This has been improved.

Web Client | Unprocessable Entity error on angle or display save.

Unprocessable Entity error with message 'May not supply both Default and Multi languages in one call' was being displayed when clicking Save twice on an angle or display. This issue has been resolved.

WebClient | Last login time is not shown on Search and Create page.

The last login time of the user was not being shown from the Search and Create pages. This issue has been resolved.

Improvements on security and robustness

To increase security and robustness, multiple improvements have been delivered on setting validation, vulnerability resolution, thread handling and query optimization.

Replacing CDS Views with S/4Hana physical tables.

The implementation of the Angles for SAP (AgS) data model for S/4HANA relied on CDS Views (Core Data Services) to define data structures and queries. However, customer feedback has highlighted performance issues, particularly high memory consumption, due to the use of CDS views— compatibility views that map to obsolete ECC structures. To mitigate this, all CDS views currently in use in the AgS S/4HANA data model have been replaced with direct access to S/4HANA physical tables, where technically feasible and performance-justified.
