Sessions

Sessions shows all active and inactive user sessions. Note that inactive user sessions remain visible during the number of minutes specified for Session history in the Global settings > System settings.

Per session the following data is shown:

Setting

Description

User

The user that logged in.

IP address

The IP address from which the user logged in.

Angles for SAP can show IPv4 as well as IPv6 addresses, depending on the configuration of the server.

Explicit

Whether the session is explicit or implicit. When a user logs on to the Web client a request for a session is posted to the Application Server. A session request from the Web client will always result in an explicit session.

Implicit sessions can only be requested by other programs, for example for debugging purposes. In an implicit session login credentials need to be added to each request to the Application Server.

Cookie

The session uses a cookie with a security token for easy authentication of requests to the Application Server. Cookies can only be used in explicit sessions.

Active

Shows whether the session is still active.

Debug logging

Allows you to activate additional logging for this session.

Created

Shows when the user logged in and the session was created.

Expires

Expiration date and time of the session when the user shows no activity.

Action

This column shows a Delete button when a session can be deleted. Only active sessions of other users can be deleted.
