Custom icons

There are numerous fields available for use in Angles. To distinguish between them, fields are categorized either by origin or by purpose.

By Origin

  • Angles for SAP calculated field EA_32: these fields are added to the SAP data by Angles for SAP for quick analysis.
  • SAP field SAP_32: these are unaltered fields from the SAP database including the original SAP help text.
  • Reference reference_32: these are references to fields in another data object, added to the SAP data by Angles for SAP for quick analysis.

By Purpose

  • Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) field GRC_32: these fields are added by Angles for SAP to perform typical GRC tasks, for example, check if the creator of the billing document is the same person as the creator of the sales order, which is not allowed, etc.
  • Finance & Controlling (FiCo) field Fico_32: these fields are added by Angles for SAP and contain information typically used for FiCo tasks, such as display the order value in a different currency or summarize the invoice amount over the last quarter. Optionally, the icon can be changed.
  • Balancing balancing_32: these fields are added by Angles for SAP to perform predictions of future stock levels, taking into account planned open incoming and outgoing good flows based on orders from sales, purchase, production, planning and others. Optionally, the icon can be changed.

Note that icons EA_32, SAP_32, and GRC_32 are standard and cannot be changed or deleted.

Adding a Custom Icon

You can add additional field categories, for instance, when you create your own calculated fields. In that case, you can choose to add your own icon to this category, such as your company logo.

To add custom icons

  1. Click Add new icon.
  2. Enter a category name. Note that the category name is essential, the exact name is used by Angles for SAP consultants to assign a field to this category. Creating custom configuration is a specialized task.
  3. Click Upload icon to upload an icon. We recommend you use a 16x16 pixel and a 32x32 pixel *.png file. If you use a larger image, it will be resized automatically to the correct size, but the result may not be as sharp as a made to size icon file.
  4. Click Save.

Changing a Custom Icon

To change custom icons

  1. Click MC_Edit of the icon category you want to change.
  2. Click Upload icon to upload icons.
  3. Click Save.
