Create an Angle in the EA4IT Model

To create an Angle based on a TemplateAngle

1. Click Create Angle in the top-right corner of the screen.

   The Create Angle for model EA4IT window appears and offers three options to access Templates:

   • Basic - The IT (Information Technology) Activities Diagram shows the most important activities in the IT business process and their sub-functions. In general, the goal of IT is to enable the effective use of information technology.

   • Advanced - The IT (Information Technology) Object Diagram shows the most important objects in the IT business process. Each object is connected to a number of SAP tables.

   • Expert - The IT (IT Management) Object List shows all available objects related to the IT business process.

2. Select one of the three options and click Continue.

   • For Basic, the Activity Diagram appears. Click on an Activity to see its help text. Double-click on an Activity to create a new Angle for it. Automatically, a TemplateAngle will be copied into your new Angle, including some Displays and help text.

   • For Advanced, the Object Diagram appears. Click on an Object to see its help text. Double-click on an Object to create a new Angle for it. Automatically, a TemplateAngle will be copied into your new Angle, including some Displays and help text.

   • For Expert, the Object List appears. Click on an Object to see its help text. Double-click on an Object to create a new Angle for it. Automatically, a TemplateAngle will be copied into your new Angle, including some Displays and a help text. Note that this screen also allows you to start an Angle from scratch by selecting the checkbox Start with blank Angle.
