Authentication Issues

Angles for SAP uses the Active Directory for user authentication. To be able to do this, Angles for SAP sends requests to the Active Directory server. By default, the local system user is used for this. In some organizations, the local system user is not allowed to send out requests to the Active Directory server. In these cases, a dedicated Active Directory user is created for this purpose. It is important that the password of this user never expires. The expiration of this password may cause the entire Angles for SAP system to become unavailable. Logging in to your AD is done via LDAP or via OKTA or another SAML1.0 supporting provider. LDAP is also supported for the cloud version of Angles for SAP, via a VPN tunnel.
