Editing the Labels of an Angle

You can edit the Labels of an Angle to make it easier to find it with the search. Depending on the configuration of your Angles for SAP system, you can select the applicable Business Processes, and additional custom search label categories may be available.

for more information about editing the labels of your Angle, see the following :

Selecting Business Processes

Angles, Templates, and Dashboards all belong to one or more Business processes. You can change the business processes for items that you have created. With sufficient permissions, you can also change the business processes for items created by other people.

To select the business processes

  1. Execute the Dashboard (see Executing a Dashboard ). The Dashboard results page opens.

  2. On the Details pane (Dashboard) , click the Dashboard tab.

  3. You can see the currently selected business processes at the bottom of the Details pane.

    1. To add a business process, click and select the business process from the list. Do not add irrelevant processes as this will unnecessarily expand the number of items in the search results. It may also allow users who have restricted access to a certain process to execute the Dashboard .

    2. To remove a business process, click X on its label.

      (missing or bad snippet)
  4. If you have saved your Dashboard before, the changes to the business processes are saved automatically. If you are customizing a new Dashboard , make sure to save your changes when you have finished.

Note: If you edit an Angle that is linked to an automation task, you will get a confirmation prompt to indicate this. If you have edited one of the Displays in the Angle, the confirmation dialog box will list all changed Displays. Deselect a Display if you do not want to save the changes you made. If you have sufficient privileges, click to open the corresponding automation task in the IT Management Console. Only save your changes if you are aware of their impact. Changing an Angle that is linked to an automation task may cause the automation task to fail.

Selecting the Search Labels

Note:

This functionality is only available if you have sufficient privileges. Your privileges are maintained by your system administrator in the IT Management Console .

If your system administrator has defined additional label categories, you can add their available labels to your Angle to make it easier to find it in a search.

To select the search labels

  1. Execute the Angle (see Executing an Angle or Template ). The Angle results page opens.

  2. On the Details pane (Angle) , click the Angle tab.

  3. In the Labels section, you can edit the search labels for this Angle.
