Datastores

Note:

This functionality is only available if you have sufficient privileges. Your privileges are maintained by your system administrator in the IT Management Console .

Datastores are automated exports of data, available in various plugins. The following options are available:

Open the IT Management Console and navigate to Angle exports > ​​​Datastores​.

Adding a Datastore

You can add the following types of datastores:

You can view the procedure to add each datastore by clicking on the link of that datastore.

Editing a Datastore

To edit a datastore

  1. Click MC_Edit2 next to the datastore you want to edit. The Edit datastore screen (in the Datastores section) opens.
  2. Edit the settings. See the descriptions for a particular type of datastore in the corresponding section, using the links mentioned above.
  3. Click Save.

Define the Default CSV or Excel Datastore

One of the datastores for exporting data to CSV and one for exporting data to Excel is set as default for that type of export. These are indicated with MC_icon_check. When exporting data, the default datastore will be used. Export to Excel datastores have a linked Excel template according to which the data will be exported. Users are allowed to select a different Excel template in the Web Client.

Keep in mind that there can only be one CSV and one Excel default datastore.

To change the default datastore

  1. Click MC_View_More next to the default datastore. The Edit datastore screen (In the Export defaults section) opens.
  2. In the Default datastore field, select the datastore you want to define as the default.
  3. If necessary, edit the other settings. See the descriptions for a particular type of datastore in the corresponding section, using the links mentioned above.
  4. Click Save.
  5. You will return to the Datastores screen where you will see that the default has been changed.

Deleting a Datastore

To delete a datastore

  1. Click MC_Edit next to the datastore you want to delete.
  2. Select Delete. A confirmation prompt opens.
  3. Click Ok.

Note: You cannot delete a datastore that is used in an automation task.
